Both during my time at Texas State and after my graduation I’ve had the chance to work paid positions in the world of digital media — here are each of those positions in reverse-chronological order.
Digital Marketing Specialist at DeepWell DTx
Tasked with making copy for newsletters, web pages, and social media posts, making basic graphics for use across each medium, and managing engagement and analytics throughout Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, I worked as a contractor from Q4 2021 to Q2 2022 and helped the company perform their initial 90-day rollout. This work was entirely remote, and taught me how to manage and perform in a fully digital work environment.
Social Media Intern at Andromeda Entertainment
Event Organizer at Arcade UFO
For three years I worked as main tournament organizer for Austin Air Assault, an anime fighting game tournament circuit based at Arcade UFO. My work included running the stream, managing brackets online, managing the Twitter, and of course, working on the ground floor to make sure the events ran smoothly.
